Lincoln-Mercury Division of Ford Motor Company unveiled its newest luxury car, the Continental Mark III, at its national dealer meeting in Palm Springs in January. Photo story of the convention begins on page 19. Cover photo, taken by New York photographer Richard Beattie, was shot in front of the desert home of Alex Dreier in Thunderbird Heights. Beattie is a member of the Famous Photography School.
