ANNUAL DESERT PROGRESS ISSUE
ON THE COVER - Actor Tom Selleck and his brother Robert are all smiles: Their jointly-owned construction company just built Cathedral City's latest addition - the stunning Mary Pickford Theatre and a 1,200-car parking structure, with more to come. The photograph is by Richard Reinsdorf/Winston West. Thanks to the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City for allowing our camera crew to shoot these photographs on their premises. Thanks, too, to Lou Hammond for making the arrangements.
